Went about 6:00. Moderate amount of customers. We were greated by the hostess whom was very bubbly and pleasant. It was our first time being there, and she made a few suggestions as to what she liked and made recommendations on what to order. She was not wrong. Pizza was spot on, and there cheese bread was delicious.

Absolutely delicious, service is great, and so are the owners! As you can see the pizza disappeared before I could take a picture because it was so good!

We wanted to try this new local spot for an early Friday dinner yesterday. Arrived at 5:30, and ordered the Don personal pizza and a fettuccine primavera. We came early to avoid the dinner rush, since we had our 2 year old daughter with us. She enjoyed the outdoor area as we waited for the food to come out. Unfortunately after an hour of waiting, we decided to call it quits and had to ask them to pack the food to go, since we were getting close to bath and bed time for the little one. I chatted up the guy next to me and he also was checking up on his food which he had been waiting 45 minutes for. 10 minutes later the food was ready and we left. The girl working the front counter (to register) looked overwhelmed and the other guy working the other register seemed frustrated with the kitchen staff, while wait staff were standing around the kitchen counter waiting for food to be completed (they looked bored like they were waiting a while too). The food was barely warm by the time we got home and I like my pizza hot and cheese melting. It’s a shame because the restaurant has potential. We were happy to see this location open since we already enjoy this establishment, and it’s much closer for us than the Gaston location. The restaurant has a nice corner spot, though parking can be a little difficult because of the other businesses in the shopping strip. They do have a really nice outdoor seating area with large benches that can easily accommodate bigger groups, which we appreciated. One improvement would be adding trash cans outside. The staff doesn’t really come out to check on the patio area or clear tables, so without a trash can customers have to walk inside to throw things away. On a windy day, like when we visited, items were even blowing off the table which made it a little frustrating. The timing of the food was also a bit off. Our child’s pizza came out first, and then it took about another 10 minutes for a 7-inch pizza from the Pick Two for $12 lunch menu to arrive. Since both were pizzas, it seemed like they should have come out closer together. Some positives: signing up for their rewards program is a nice perk, and they offer specials like Kids Eat Free on Tuesdays. The Food and services were great. The personal pizza was a good size. We had a great time and definitely will be back soon!
